Notes & Policies

Please read prior to booking your holiday.

Summer:

Weekly rentals preferred (Saturday - Friday) during peak weeks of June, July & August. Please call or email us for details and rates.


Winter/Spring/Fall:

Min. 2 night rental. Our nightly rates are based on a 2 night min.


Holiday Weekends:

Minimum 3 nights, please contact us for rates.


Deposits:

25% deposit for weekly reservations payable at the time of booking.
1 night deposit for all shorter rental.

Cancellations:

Your deposit is refundable if cancellation is more than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to check-in. If cancellation is less then 56 days before check-in, no refund is given. If cancellation is within 14 days or less of your vacation, then you will be liable for the full amount (deposit and balance owing). There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Payment:

All rates exclusive of tax. Full payment is required prior to check-in. Deposits are accepted through Interac e-transfer only. Please note we do not have Debit/Credit Card Facilities.

Cottage Capacities:

We do not allow the overcrowding of our cottages under any circumstances, this including day visitors. Please note we consider infants, children & teens as guests.

Additional guests/visitors:

Guests wishing to have visitors during the day must make prior arrangements with management. An additional charge of $50 per person per day will be applicable if above the rated capacity of your cottage. Note it may not always be possible to have additional guests. We consider infants, children & teens as guests.

Smoking & Fireworks:

We ask that our guests do not smoke inside the cottages. No Fireworks (Local Bylaw).

Pets:

Sorry, we do not allow pets of any kind under any circumstances. Ask us for details regarding boarding facilities nearby.

Noise:

In consideration of other guests, our family and neighbours, we ask that portable music players are kept at a volume that does not interfere with the other guests enjoying themselves. We also ask that there is no noise after 10pm.

Check-in:

During the summer months check-in is 3:00pm Saturday and check-out is 8:00pm Friday night.

At all other times of the year (Fall, Winter, Spring) check-in is after 11am & check-out is by 10 am.

What to bring?

We provide a starter supply of toilet paper and dish soap, plus a dishcloth and scrub pads. We suggest you bring the following:

  • Sheets (top & bottom/fitted), blankets, pillows & pillowcases
  • Towels for bath, beach and dish drying (tea towels) & bath mat
  • Extra toilet paper, paper towels, tissues
  • Dish soap, garbage bags and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc.)
  • Lifejackets (required for water sports (canoe, kayak, trampoline))
  • If bringing sleeping bags, we still ask that you bring a sheet to cover the mattress.
